☀️ Light

Succulents love bright light.

  • Place your kokedama in bright, indirect light or where it receives 4–6 hours of morning sun.

  • Avoid prolonged harsh afternoon sun, especially through hot windows, which may scorch the leaves.

💧 Water

Succulents prefer to dry out between waterings.

  • Water every 2–3 weeks, depending on your home's temperature and humidity.

  • Before watering, make sure the moss ball feels dry.

How to Water

  1. Fill a bowl with room-temperature water.

  2. Submerge only the moss ball for 5–10 minutes.

  3. Remove and gently squeeze excess water.

  4. Allow it to drain completely before hanging or displaying.

Never leave your kokedama sitting in water.

🌡️ Temperature

Your succulent kokedama prefers:

  • 60–85°F (16–29°C)

  • Protect from frost and freezing temperatures.

  • Keep away from heating vents and cold drafts.

🌿 Humidity

Unlike tropical plants, succulents prefer low to moderate humidity.

No misting is needed.

🌱 Fertilizing

Feed lightly during the growing season.

  • Use a diluted succulent fertilizer 2–3 times per year in spring and summer.

  • Do not fertilize during winter dormancy.

✂️ General Care

  • Remove any dried or damaged leaves.

  • Rotate your kokedama every few weeks for even growth.

  • If a succulent becomes leggy, trim and replant the healthy cutting.

🪴 Display Tips

Your succulent kokedama looks beautiful:

  • Hanging in a bright window

  • On a decorative stand

  • As a centerpiece

  • In a sunroom or covered patio

  • Always allow good air circulation around the plant
