Succulent kokedamas are created with a variety of colorful succulents.

Light & Temperature

It prefers to grow in plenty of indirect sun and bright light.

To care for your kokedama, you should place the moss ball in a small dish with the plant side up every two weeks. Pour room-temperature water into the dish until the kokedama is almost floating, and wait about 5 minutes until the moss ball absorbs most of the water. Add more water to the dish and wait until the kokedama is wet up to its neck. Repeat this process if necessary, which should take around 15 to 30 minutes. Once done, remove the kokedama from the dish, let it drain briefly, and then put it back on display.

These kokedama require the typical watering needs for succulents. It's best to allow them to dry out completely between waterings. Never let water sit on the plant as it can cause rot or fungal diseases that can kill it. Also, remove dead leaves from the bottom to avoid pests. During winter, you should water it no more than every two weeks.

Feeding/Fertilizing

During spring and summer, fertilize your kokedama monthly with a liquid succulent fertilizer at 1/4 of the recommended concentration. Mix the fertilizer into the water and water as usual.
